The year when the dragons disappeared

That year was the year when the big freeze started. The sun stopped to shine, it was snowing non-stop, all of the world was covered in freezing white.

No plants could grow in the cold climate. For the animals that didn't freeze to death, it was hard to find any food to eat.

The cow used to wander every year to the succulent meadow but now she only moaned to her mate in desperation. Visibility was something that was almost forgotten. Footsteps began to carelessly falter.

Dad raised his head in deep concern, he was far above the understanding of the vulgar greedy reptiles that roamed frequently in the valleys. All I heard him say quietly to mommy was, "the cave."

"Maybe if we could save Tiny Dragon, we could save ourselves as well", mom said to Dad. If we could find a cave that nobody knows about, get as much food together as we can, Tiny may stand a chance.

There was never an answer from him for mother when she spoke that way but I knew what love was when daddy walked with a huge determined step. The question on my mind was what about the other dragons?

Right, time for a meeting with all the other dragons. They would have to strategize the survival of the Dragons.

Baby tiny was beginning to realize that being a dragon was not so easy but slowly started to raise his head not because he was proud but because he was a dragon just like his Dad.
