As she raised her hand deliberately up and over to her computer to urge the little button into the crevice which would bring life to her other world, she did think of something secretive. Woooohrrrrr!

Her mother reaches to the wall plug and turns off the power. "No more Internet for you young lady, and you are grounded until we can sort this out".

Tears are fighting their way out but she will not reveal them to anyone, not even her mother. Love is not something to be toyed with and this control is just too . . . "Sure!" but this isn't over yet!

Ahhhh opportunity presents itself. Her mother does not know about her own personal laptop, that her boyfriends had given to her just for occasions like this one.

To hide the laptop from her mother she opens her wardrobe and cleans out the clothes from one of the shelfs and puts it under her bed. She puts the laptop on the empty shelf and turn on the power.

As she takes a breath she reflects on her circumstances, "there is nothing wrong with what I am doing." There is a little creeking noise in the house and it makes her think that the only problem . . .

She realize that the laptop fan makes a relatively high noise. "Hope it's not enough for mom to notice" she thinks for herself, but feeling forced to meet Purcell as promised she log on the forum.
